Knights of Columbus

 Who are these men they call Knights?

Over 125 years ago Father McGiveny founded the Knights of Columbus with a vision.  This vision has grown into an organization of over 1.7 million members in 12, 500 councils throughout the world.  Each year the Knights donate more than $130 million to charitable causes and over 60 million volunteer hours to those in need.  Please join us so that you can see your involvement in the Order will be " An Experience of a Lifetime "

 Why Join the Knights of Columbus?

 Knights are Catholic men, 18 year an older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting the Church.

 Being a Knight is more that camaraderie, it is :

  • being involved with your community,
  • supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith,
  • about protecting and enhancing your family life.

 The 24 hour Knight

Being a member isn't as time consuming as some people may think.  Here's how we are asking prospects to share their time:

  • 12 hours a year reading the weekly church bulletin, the state and local council newsletters and the monthly Supreme Council magazine COLUMBIA
  • 2 hours a year volunteering at a council event of their interest
  • 2 hours a year on a council sponsored family project or event
  • 2 hour a year attending one council meeting
  • 4 hours a year attending a council social function with their family

  • monthly pancake breakfasts
  • Coat Drive
  • 40 Cans for 40 Days
  • Seafood Dinner fundraiser
  • Stations of the Cross
  • Soup kitchen 3 times a year
